Frequently Asked Questions

  • I’m not on any insurance panels, though many plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network therapy.

You’re welcome to check with your insurance provider about your specific benefits. I can provide a superbill for you to submit for possible reimbursement.

  • Individual sessions are 50 minutes, and couples sessions are 75 minutes.

When we first begin working together, I offer weekly sessions. This helps us build momentum and establish a foundation for the work.

People sometimes ask about every-other-week sessions, but in the beginning that can make it harder to get the process going. Over time, we can revisit what frequency feels most supportive and effective.

  • I offer both in-person and online (telehealth) sessions.

In-person sessions are available on Thursdays and Fridays.

Public transit: 10-minute walk from Ashby BART; AC Transit lines #1 and #49.
Street parking is generally easy to find.

  • Please contact me for my current fees.

  • My practice is often full, though you’re welcome to reach out to inquire about current availability.

  • Our work is collaborative, experiential, and grounded in building a sense of safety from the beginning.

I pay close attention to what’s happening in the moment—both in what you’re sharing and in your emotional and bodily experience—and we move at a pace that feels manageable and respectful.

Together, we make space for what’s been difficult, while also recognizing the strengths and capacities you bring.

Over time, this can support a deeper sense of self-understanding, self-compassion, and meaningful change.

  • You’re welcome to reach out by email to inquire about availability and briefly share what you’re looking for.

From there, we can determine next steps.
